Deborah Backiel, DMD

Dr. Deborah Backiel graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Dental School in 1999.  She has committed her professional career to staying abreast of current research in dentistry and delivering dental care in a comfortable and warm environment.  She is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the Pennsylvania Dental Association and the Cosmetic Consortium.     Dr. Backiel's expertise is in tooth replacement implant therapy, cosmetic and aesthetic full mouth reconstruction.  Samples of these cases can be viewed in our photo gallery.

    Melanie Duff, RDH
                                               Hygienist

Melanie is the office hygienist.  She received her associates degree from Manor College in 2004 and was presented the Montgomery/Bucks award for clinical excellence.  She has been trained in the latest techniques in her field.  Implementing needle free anesthesia and using the latest in antibiotic therapy are just some of the newest treatments Melanie implements to fight Periodontal disease.

  Geena Marshall, EFDA, CDA
                                         Senior Dental Assistant

Geena has been working in the dental field since 1996.  She received her CDA in 1997 and continued to advance her education by enrolling in Harcum college. By 2003 she had completed her Expanded Function Dental Assistant training.  Since that time, she has continued to build on her dental  expertise through continuing education courses.  She specializes in the placement of composite restorations, and has extensive training working with full reconstructive cosmetic and aesthetic cases.  These cases can be viewed in our photo gallery. 

  Fabian Marechal, B.A., B.S.
                                           Business Manager

Fabian has been with the practice since it was established.  He received a B.A. in Political Sciences and Economics from La Sorbonne University in Paris in 1993.  He also had completed a B.S. degree in Business Management at Northeastern University and Clark University.  Fabian has over five years of experience in the dental field in practice management.
